Judo Festival Year 6
On Wednesday 8th February our year 6 children attended a judo workshop at Tonbridge Judo Centre with trained coaches.
Here are some of the children comments:
Poppy - "I really liked the judo lesson because the judo teacher Chris was FUN and we got to learn some cool moves and at the end we were able to play games like Simon Says".
Oliver - "I really liked the judo taster I did yesterday. It was amazingly exciting pinning my friends (Nate and Carter) down. Thank you for showing me that sport and really liked it".
Evie C - "I really enjoyed the judo lesson because the man, Chris, taught us lots of cool things and I liked trying out all the different ways to get someone on their back".
Evie M - "I really enjoyed the judo the other day because we learnt lots of different things and didn't just learn one thing. Chris was a great teacher and I had a lovely time".
Jack - "It was fun and entertaining because I kept getting picked on plus we got to slam our best friends".
"I really enjoyed the judo event because we got to learn a sport. I also enjoyed the judo guy and how he was really funny. I like pinning down my friends and practising skills".
Charlotte - "The instructor was really nice and funny. We got to have fun with our friends and chuck them around. It was FUN!"
"I like the judo because I won Simon Says, I learnt a new and awesome sport,I learnt how to slam people on the ground and I had a lot of fun".
Ella - "I liked the judo, because we learnt a new sport. Also, we got to explore new moves every few minutes. Additionally, at the end we got to play what Simon Says and a game where we had to go across the road to different sections".
