Year 3 participated in an Egyptian day at school as part of their history topic...

Today, we went back in time to Ancient Egypt!  Lauren, the Egyptologist showed us lots of artefacts she had found and taught us all about Upper and Lower Egypt, the Nile and the Pharaohs.  We learnt about Narmer, the first Pharoah, Tutankhamun and Cleopatra, the last Pharoah. 

We retold stories about their Gods and the afterlife and learnt how to mummify a Pharoah.  We had a lot of fun and learnt so much.
